Judge Throws Out Case, Says “In God We Trust” Will Stay On Currency. Do You Support This?

A judge recently struck down a case regarding the religious wording on U.S. currency. The plaintiff argued that the phrase “In God We Trust,” that is seen on American dollars, is a breach of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and places a burden on a person’s right to exercise religious freedom. The Ohio judge, Benita Pearson disagreed with the plaintiff, issuing that they had no proof of the claimed burden, and stated the following:“Plaintiffs cannot demonstrate that the use of the motto on currency substantially burdens their religious exercise,” she wrote in her ruling.

“Credit cards and checks allow Plaintiffs to conduct the bulk of their purchases with currency not inscribed with the motto. And for cash-only transactions, such as a garage sale or a coin-operated laundromat, the use of the motto on currency does not substantially burden Plaintiffs’ free exercise.”The attorney who has been the main plaintiff and standing behind the case is California attorney Michael Newdow, who has been on a mission to rid the words “Under God,” from the Pledge of Allegiance. And now he is set on removing “In God We Trust,” from American currency. The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court’s Northern District of Ohio in 2015. Newdow is claiming that the phrase is in violation of the First and Fifth Amendments, along with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

“Plaintiffs either specifically do not trust in any ‘G-d’ (with NOT trusting G-d being a basic tenet of their belief systems) or hold G-d’s name so dear and exalted that to inscribe it on a monetary instrument is deemed sinful,” said Newdow in his court documentation.Judge Pearson, on the other hand, felt differently about the plaintiff’s case and raised the following argument:“Plaintiffs argue that cash transactions force them to bear a message that they [feel] violate their religious beliefs,” she wrote. “But as the Supreme Court stated in Wooley v. Maynard, ‘The bearer of currency is thus not required to publicly advertise the national motto.’ Furthermore, Plaintiffs’ other concerns, that they may be subject to peer pressure or ridicule, or that their children may question their beliefs, are unlike the choice between a ‘basic benefit and a core belief’ described in the Supreme Court’s case law.

”And while the separation of church and state has been one of the nation’s founding principles, some commenter’s offered their own arguments on the topic…“Congress shall pass no law respecting an establishment of religion. It doesn’t matter if it violates free will or not. The words “In God We Trust” respects an establishment of religion.

On that grounds it should be stricken from government currency.”“The phrase “seperation of church and state” is a simplistic and misleading representation of the intent of the founding fathers. Their goal was to foster, nourish, and encourage religious belief in God (as oppposed to belief in no god) because they correctly believed that people who think they will someday return and report to their creator are much more likely to be peaceful, loving, thoughtful, forgiving, courteous, etc than people who do not hold such a belief.

History is proving the correctness of their perception. All the stats say we are becoming less and less believers in God and they also clearly show our slow decent into rudeness, selfishness, greed and violence. Some will say there is no connection, they need to think that through very carefully.”

A Texas Sheriff Faces Backlash From Black Lives Matter Over Publishing “All Lives Matter” Ad, He Is Refusing To Back Down From His Statement

When Texas Sheriff Parnell McNamara purchased an ad in the paper, he probably didn’t expect it to cause the controversy that it did.

The ad proclaimed,

“All lives matter!”

According to the Waco Tribune, McNamara was tired of people accusing the phrase, “All lives matter,” of being a racial slur, and tired of being told it was politically incorrect to say.

“All lives matter. Your life matters, mine, police, John Q citizen.

It doesn’t matter what color you are. Every human being has a right to live.”

McNamara is not backing down from the statement in his ad.

The Texas sheriff accused the Black Lives Matter movement of being nothing more than an anti-police movement.

“I know of no police officer that puts his badge and gun on in the morning and goes to work wanting to hurt someone or kill someone.”

However, critics of McNamara have condemned the phrase, “All lives matter,” and explained that black people are not treated equally in the United States.

Community Race Relations Coalition board chairman, Joe Welter told the Tribune,

“You can say, ‘All lives matter,’ but the fact is throughout our history, and even currently, we do not value black lives as much as we do other lives.”

To prove the point that this was the case, the articles cites a statistic that was published in the Washington Post:

“Of all of the unarmed people shot and killed by police in the United States in 2015, 40 percent of them were black men.”

To put that into perspective, black men make up 6% of the nation’s population.

While this sounds like a slam dunk statistic for the Black Lives Matter movement, and is a set of numbers that the Obama administration has repeatedly used to push the narrative that there is systemic racism, there is more to the story than what BLM, the Obama administration, and the Drive By Media will tell you.

For example, statistics also reveal that an American police officer is 18 times more likely to be shot and killed by a black man than an unarmed black man is to be shot and killed by an officer.

What that means, is that officers are already weary going into some situations like traffic stops or domestic violence disputes, not because of racism, but because of past results.

Secondly, many of these unarmed shootings occur while the victim is assaulting the police officer, or trying to steal the officer’s weapons.

For example, the case that essentially solidified the Black Lives Matter movement, Michael Brown of Ferguson, is a case where an unarmed black man was shot and killed by a police officer.

Therefore, Brown would be included in that 40% number from the Washington Post mentioned above.

However, what that percentage does not tell you is that Brown had already robbed a convenience store, manhandled a store clerk that was half his size, and then attacked a police officer that wanted to question him and his friend after realizing they matched the descriptions of the two men who had committed the robbery just a short time before.

All evidence except Brown’s friend, who was determined by a grand jury to be an “uncredible” witness, demonstrated that Brown had reached into Officer Wilson’s cruiser, and was trying to take the officer’s gun.

Brown was shot in the hand, while it was inside the vehicle, and the youth took off running.

Wilson pursued the fleeing suspect, and at one point, Brown turned, and charged at the officer.

Wilson had to make a split second decision as to whether or not to use lethal force, or let the 300 pound “gentle giant” bowl into him, and possibly kill him.

Brown was hit multiple times before finally going down.

Though this criminal, who is on video being a menace to society, was shot while attacking a police officer, the Left uses his case as an instance of police brutality. It doesn’t matter what he was doing at the time he was shot, it only matters that he was shot and unarmed.

This is exactly why the Black Lives Matter movement is based on a lie, and so dangerous for the future of the nations.

It’s using carefully selected stats, scripted narratives, and bumper stickers to convince a new generation of black men to not trust or comply with police officers.

It is also why Texas Sheriff Parnell McNamara is getting so much praise for standing up to the group with his, “All lives matter,” ad.

Share this if you agree that ALL LIVES MATTER!!

Amid the growing furor over the NFL’s acceptance of its players disrespecting our nation, the league is receiving some bad news from Washington.

As many are aware, the NFL benefits from billions in taxpayer subsidies, which help team owners build extravagant stadiums they claim help improve the local economies. However, with the recent spate of protests on the field, people from all over the country have been calling for these subsidies to be stripped from the league, and it looks like they’re going to get their wish.

According to Watchdog.org, the federal government has given the NFL over $7 billion in taxpayer cash to either build or revamp existing stadiums.

“Overall, taxpayers have spent nearly $3 billion on the 16 stadiums that will host NFL games during the season’s opening weekend. And over the past couple of decades, we’ve given NFL teams nearly $7 billion total in aid for their stadiums,” the website stated.

Some of these handouts were to the New England Patriots, who received $72 million to build Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., the Pittsburgh Steelers, who received $176.1 million for their stadium, while the Indianapolis Colts took a “modest” $619 million in taxpayer subsidies for their stadium.

As you can see, this costs us quite a lot of money. But because of the recent controversy surrounding the league, a bipartisan effort to strip the funding completely is once again gaining steam.

The Daily Caller reported that a bill to remove the subsidies introduced over the summer by Democrat Sen. Corey Booker and Republican Sen. James Lankford is gaining momentum in the Senate.

From the Caller:

Last June, New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker and Republican Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford put forth a bill that would ban professional sports teams from using municipal bonds in relation to federal funding to build their sports arenas.

“Professional sports teams generate billions of dollars in revenue,” Booker said in a statement. “There’s no reason why we should give these multimillion-dollar businesses a federal tax break to build new stadiums. It’s not fair to finance these expensive projects on the backs of taxpayers, especially when wealthy teams end up reaping most of the benefits.”

The Oklahoma Republican senator agreed, saying, “The federal government is responsible for a lot of important functions, but financing sports stadiums for multi-million – sometimes billion – dollar franchises is definitely not one of them.”

A spokesman from Lankford’s office told The Daily Caller Sunday that in the last four weeks interest in the bill has picked up since both members proposed it four months ago.

So that’s that. Protesting the country that’s given you everything, and then some, comes with consequences.

Now let’s just hope that the renewed interest in this bill doesn’t fade away with the controversy. Taxpayers shouldn’t be footing the bill for these billionaires to build stadiums only they benefit from, all while their players are protesting the country that made it possible.

Actress Jennifer Aniston: “Me and All The Trump Supporter Celebrities Decide To Make A Company Named “Celebrities For Trump”, Which Fight Against All Anti Trump Celebrities, I Think President Trump Needs Our Support”. Do You Support Her?

For the show’s cold open, Alec Baldwin entered the fray with his latest Donald Trump skit, poking fun at the President-elect over his retweet of a 16-year-old boy’s support. During a “security briefing,” Baldwin’s character interrupted the session with “important” news.

“Kellyanne,” Baldwin rasped, “I just retweeted the the best tweet. I mean, wow,” he gushed.

“What a great, smart tweet. This could not wait. It was from a young man named Seth, He’s 16, he’s in high school, and I really did retweet him,” he insisted. “Seriously. This is real.” Kate McKinnon, playing Conaway, stared vacantly into the camera and said, “He really did do this.”

The real Donald Trump didn’t waste any time tweeting about the sketch, sharing his displeasure on, where else, Twitter.

Is Jennifer Aniston launching a clothing collection with HSN? A new report claims she’s teaming up with Sheryl Crow, who already has a line with the Home Shopping Network. But Gossip Cop has exclusively learned Aniston isn’t involved in any partnership.

The new issue of OK! is announcing, “Sheryl & Jen’s Home Shopping Hookup.” In the article, the tabloid claims the singer is “steering her pal toward the Home Shopping Network.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying of Crow, “She’s shocked at how much fun it is and how much money she is making relative to the time and effort she put into her last album. Now she wants Jen to team up with her on a collection they’ll design and sell together!”

According to the gossip magazine’s supposed source, Aniston is on board with the idea because she’s been “looking for more opportunities outside of acting.” Cautions the snitch, “The big leap would be hawking the collection on-air, but Sheryl makes that look easy, and Jen would essentially be a guest star.” The alleged tipster further contends to the outlet, “Jen is thrilled that Sheryl suggested it. She can dip her toe into a lifestyle brand and see if that’s something she wants to pursue. It’s kind of a no-brainer for her. She has a built-in fan base that’ll love her stuff.”

The publication notes this purported project is still in the “planning stages,” which could be why there are no specifics given about what type of apparel Aniston and Crow would design or when the clothing might debut. More likely, though, the real reason this article is so general and vague is because there’s no such collection in the works.

No one with whom Gossip Cop spoke, including Aniston’s rep, could confirm any plans to do a line for HSN. In fact, we’re told that the star’s agents and manager have not had any discussions about this alleged career move.

And there’s further reason to doubt the legitimacy of this supposed scoop: OK! has a beyond horrible track record when it comes to reporting on Aniston. The tabloid has spent years publishing untrue pregnancy reports about the actress, including a cover story two months ago that falsely claimed Aniston was expecting a “miracle baby at 48.”

The magazine that doesn’t care to be accurate on such important topics is not going to be the outlet that breaks real news about the star’s career..

Barack Obama statue removed from Jakarta park after protests ! do you agree?

The bronze statue, inspired by a childhood photograph of a 10-year-old Barack Obama in shorts with a butterfly perched on an outstretched thumb, was moved on Monday to the nearby school the US president attended as a child. It had been targeted by critics since it was erected in the Jakarta park last December.

Detractors argued that an Indonesian hero should have been honoured instead, noting that Mr Obama still could pursue policies that hurt the interests of the world’s most populous Muslim nation.

Mr Obama, whose American mother married an Indonesian after divorcing his Kenyan father, went to school in the capital from 1967 to 1971 and is regarded fondly by most Indonesians.Edi Kusyanto, a teacher at the affluent government-run school Mr Obama attended, said the 43-inch-tall statue would be standing in the school grounds by the time the president visits Jakarta on March 20-22. – 02 Feb 2010

“There is no controversy about the statue being here. Everyone at the school welcomes it,” she said. The statue was erected with private funds raised by the Jakarta-based non-profit group Friends of Obama Foundation.

Ron Mullers, an American living in Jakarta who came up with the idea for the statue and raised money for it, declined to say whether he thought moving it was an over-reaction.

“It’s a beautiful statue and it had become a tourist attraction,” said Mr Mullers. “My feeling is that the park is a place where more Indonesian people can see it.

”But he said he was happy the statue might inspire the school’s students to follow their dreams.Heru Nugroho, who led a Facebook campaign to remove the statue, welcomed the move but added that the decision had taken too long. He said he would now drop court action seeking the statue’s removal.

Thug Pulls Gun on Vietnam Veteran, But LOOK Who’s Quicker on the Draw

On her return flight to Atlanta, Diane Hollified Cupp experience something she will never forget until the day she dies – for the best reasons possible. The Johnson City, Tennessee resident had been on vacation with her husband in Europe, touring the historic sites related to World War II. During one of the tours, the guide described how soldiers’ remains are found there all the time.

But on her return flight across the Atlantic, Cupp never expected to be honored by the presence of a war hero. When the flight from Germany landed in Atlanta, the captain announced that an Army private was onboard escorting the remains of a WWII soldier to his final resting place in Houston, Texas. And this person would get the privilege to get off the planet first.

As the Army Private proudly left the plane, the Iowa Ambassadors of Music Choir rose from their seats and began singing The Battle Hymn of the Republic. Not a more honorable departure could have been planned for the World War II hero and his Army private escort. And Cupp caught the awe-inspiring moment on camera…

When the video begins, you can hear the young high school performers singing:

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

They repeat the chorus of the famous Battle Hymn of the Republic several times with harmonic variations.

Question of the week: If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Cupp uploaded the video to her Facebook page and shared the following about the moment:

“On our flight from Germany there was an Army private in uniform that so happen to be escorting the remains of a WW11 Soldier back home to Houston. The pilot announced he would be exiting the plane first, as he got up to leave there were a group of young people who had been on tour in Europe all of a sudden they broke out singing Glory Hallelujah. Listen how beautiful!! Will bring a tear to your eye.”

If you watch carefully, you can see the choir director conducting the high school singers in the back of the plane.

Cupp and the other passengers on board were touched by the young people’s display of respect for the WWII veteran and the United States military.

“To see those young people do that just melted my heart,” Cupp told WSB-TV. “It was absolutely beautiful, to see the respect that these kids had, I just had to capture it,” Cupp said. “It was an awesome treat for me and something I will never forget.”

Cupp posted the video to her Facebook page where it has since gotten more than 1.8 million views. News agencies picked up the story and shared it with others around the country.

Watch the video below and see why everyone is applauding for Iowa’s Ambassadors of Music Choir.

As some commenters wrote on YouTube:

“These Millennials are first class human beings with their heads screwed on straight,” James Ray wrote.

“Although he’s not alive to know what’s going on, the choir’s actions set a good example for everyone else to follow regarding the life of a human being (regardless of whether that person was a soldier),” Brandon E. Smith shared.

What do you think about this choir’s special attention to the deceased veteran?

Flight Crew Takes A Knee And Walks Off, Leaving New Orleans Saints Stranded On Runway

The New Orleans Saints made the mistake of once again disrespecting our veterans, our country and our flag. After an embarrassing opening to a game with the worst ratings in Saints’ history, the players and coaches learned that their actions have consequences.

Both the pilot and co-pilot of the Boeing 737 the Saints use to travel are combat-hardened American heroes. They flew sorties over Baghdad with Saddam’s best weapons firing back.

They fought with their lives for your freedom and watched many of their friends die. Today they took a stand for those brave souls:

“We couldn’t be a party to the disrespect. We waited until we were cleared and last off the runway for the night , walked out of the cockpit, took a knee and deplaned. They’re not going anywhere until tomorrow.”

Looks like the group of thugs should have just considered themselves lucky they’re allowed to make millions for playing a game and stood with respect like they’re told to do in the league rulebook.

This week was the worst week in NFL history for ratings. Next week will be worse.

Black Man Nervous At How Cop Acts During Ticket, Then He Says To Follow Him

LaVonte Dell (left), Dell’s car (right)

A Michigan man was rolling down the road when he saw a police officer pull up behind him. The driver noticed the officer acting odd as he talked to him about his window tint being too dark, looking around inside his car from where he was standing. Then, the officer stopped and told the driver to follow him down the road.

LaVonte Dell had a feeling he was being stopped for his illegal tint, and he was right, but there was something else that Westland Police Officer Joshua Scaglione noticed as he started talking to him about the ticket. Appearing a little upset as they spoke, Dell said he noticed the cop getting choked up, and he wasn’t sure what about this seemingly routine stop on April 18 had moved him to tears.

According to WXYZ, Dell was particularly nervous about being pulled over because his 3-year-old daughter was in the backseat, and he didn’t want to deal with any trouble that day. She was also not in a car seat, which Scaglione noticed while discussing the tint issue. More expensive than a visibility ticket is a child endangerment charge for driving with your kid not securely fastened. However, seeing her sitting there brought tears to the cop’s eyes as he asked her father about it.

“I asked him why is she back there without a car seat,” Scaglione told the news station. “It’s not safe. He teared up a bit and told me he was going through some tough times.” This meant something specific to the officer, who immediately saw himself in the driver’s eyes, having suffered the same financial despair.

“I related to the fact that I’ve been in that situation before,” Scaglione explained. Rather than writing a ticket for any of it, the cop asked the father to follow him. The two drove to Walmart where they walked the aisles of the store together.

“You would have thought we were best friends,” Dell recalled about the surprise shopping trip. “No awkward silence. I learned about him. He learned about me.”

Scaglione with Dell and his daughter

Scaglione told Dell to pick out the perfect car seat for his daughter and that he would pay for it. “I realized this was the perfect opportunity to help him,” the officer said of the moment he chose to help this man, rather than making his situation in life worse with several tickets he could have issued that day. “Dell seems like a blue collar hard working guy who was doing the best he could for his family,” Scaglione said.

The father couldn’t believe the generosity being shown to him, and he thanked his new friend in blue for the help he so desperately needed. Dell took to social media to praise what this kindhearted, white cop did for a black man in need, who didn’t judge him like he had expected. ” … Don’t judge a book by its cover. You’d be surprised what comes of it,” he wrote, urging others to not be so quick to claim all cops are bad.

Officer Scaglione didn’t see skin color, he saw a need as well as himself in a sad circumstance he could personally relate to. Rather than keeping those thoughts inside and issuing a ticket, as he was within the right to do, he chose to make it better, which is all officers hope for when they put their badge on each day.

Twenty-second Circuit Court of Appeals Justice, Hansam Al Alallawalahi-Smith has made major headlines this week when he overturned a ruling out of Dearborn, Michigan and tried to implement Sharia Law. The ruling allowed two critical and violent tenets of Sharia Law to be practiced in the United States of America.

When he was asked why the feds have the right to allow a man to brutalize his wife for speaking with another man and to beat her nearly to death if she were to act on her impulses, the judge mentioned the systematic infusion clause and said that the Sharia Law should be allowed because the 14th Amendment guarantees them the rights guaranteed by the other states. The laws may be acceptable to savages, but here, in America, we have higher standards.

Alallaha-Smith stated that the 14th Amendment does not necessarily exclude foreign influence from being allowed by law, citing the Christmas Holiday as a perfect example:

“Christmas is a Christian holiday exclusively, yet, if you are a Muslim and you want to go about your day without being bothered you cannot because the laws of a city in a city in Rome take precedent over the First Amendment which guarantees no state-sponsored religion. A federal Christmas holiday is just that,” said Alallaha-Smith.

With that as a precedent, understanding that a higher court may reverse it, my decision is that items one and two on the docket are allowable between family members as prescribed by Sharia Law,” continued Alallaha-Smith.

The Democrats simply cannot stop complaining about this, claiming that since the appointment wasn’t Trump’s, he can’t use the precedent to fire him. Trump has responded that people always want him to think about the Office in these kinds of situations. His only statement was: “The Office had no choice but to let him go for the good of the country!”

Trump Posts Possibly the Most Powerful Photo of His Entire Presidency — ‘Show This to the NFL Players Who Still Kneel’

Kirsters Baish| President Donald Trump called out the NFL for their bad behavior last year when a string of National Anthem protests broke out among players. Self-entitled and overpaid athletes have decided that kneeling for the anthem is appropriate behavior. It all started with former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who claimed that he wouldn’t stand for an anthem which represents a country that he found oppressive.

Because of the boycott, there has been a huge drop in NFL ratings as well as attendance to games.

Hannity.com reported:

According to USA Today, the average audience numbers across the entire spectrum of NFL’s broadcast networks –NBC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, and their private streaming outlet- fell by a stunning 10% from last year’s totals. Even worse, the ratings for the 2016 season were also down a stunning 8% from 2015. “NFL broadcasts had an average minute audience of 14.9 million compared to 16.5 million in 2016. CBS, Fox, NBC and ESPN had a smaller audience than 2016,” writes USA Today. “ESPN, which included its streaming audience, had the lowest drop among the four networks at a 7.7% decline. Fox had a 9.1% drop, NBC dipped 10.4% and CBS fell 11.2% compared to 2016.”

Former NFL fans see the protests and the refusal to stand for the anthem as a total lack of respect for our flag and for those who fight for everything it stands for. President Trump made the disrespect very clear when he retweeted a picture which he felt that every American should see. The NFL players who are still kneeling during the anthem should definitely see this.

The picture shows a woman laying on the grave of her late husband in a military cemetery. President Trump stated, “So beautiful…Show this picture to the NFL players who still kneel!”

The picture was captioned “This is why we stand” and the person who tweeted it, Corey Jones, stated “We stand to honor those who fought and died defending the greatest nation the world has ever known. God bless our vets!”

President Trump has tweeted a lot of criticisms of the NFL players who have decided to participate in the protest over the last football season, but this one was the most important tweet of all. This photo shows exactly what these overpaid athletes are disrespecting when they decide to kneel during the National Anthem. They are disrespecting the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our freedoms and our country. Thank you, President Trump, for showing us what it’s all about.
